Titan Chamber System

 

The Titan Chamber System by Pennine Manufacturing Ltd is a robust, modular solution for underground duct access. Manufactured in the UK to ISO 9001 standards, Titan chambers are made from recycled polypropylene, offering both environmental sustainability and structural integrity.

Titan chambers are suitable for a wide range of applications including:

  • Land drainage
  • Railway and motorway communications
  • Street and airport lighting
  • Gas, water, and electric utilities

Key features:

  • Flat-pack or assembled delivery
  • Lightweight and easy to handle
  • Tool-free on-site assembly
  • Knockouts for 110mm pipes, with flexibility for other sizes
  • D400 load rating (40 tonnes), tested and certified by Lloyds British

Installation highlights:

  • Constructed using 150mm deep sections
  • 100mm concrete base (C30 dry mix) recommended
  • Backfill with compacted MOT Type 1 in 300mm layers
  • Chambers larger than 600mm square should be braced for 24 hours
  • Height adjustment possible using galvanized steel frames with composite lids

Titan chambers passed rigorous testing to BSEN124 D400 standards, including sidewall deflection and compressive load tests, without requiring concrete backfill.
